How long does it take to set up my business in the software?
Small businesses typically complete setup in a short amount of time. You’ll add your company information, your team, and your payroll details, and from there you can begin managing your workforce, processing payroll, and accessing powerful HR tools right away. Am I still responsible for compliance if I use Teache?
Yes. While Teache provides tools and guidance to help you manage compliance, you are ultimately responsible for ensuring your company meets all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Can I manage both employees and independent contractors in the software?
Yes. Teache allows businesses to manage both W-2 employees and 1099 contractors in one place. Admins can track worker information, manage documentation, run payroll when applicable, and keep records organized for both worker types.
Can employees and independent contractors access the platform themselves?
Yes. Both employees and independent contractors have their own access to the platform where they can view their information, complete onboarding tasks, review payroll details, and manage certain HR-related updates. This helps reduce administrative work for the business owner or admin.
Is Teache only software, or can I get HR support too?
Teache offers both options so you can choose the level of support that feels right for your business. You can use the software on its own, or you can add the HR Consulting add‑on for a more guided, human experience. With the add‑on, you gain direct access to a human HR professional who can help you navigate questions, policies, onboarding, compliance, and people‑related projects with confidence.
